Traffic jams reached 10 points in Nizhny Novgorod

The maximum level of congestion on city streets is observed in the evening of January 29 against the backdrop of heavy snowfall. Precipitation in a major city in the Volga region will end around 4 a.m. Friday.

“This is the current picture of congestion in Nizhny Novgorod – 10 out of 10 points,” the publication notes. The Yandex map showing traffic jams shows that large traffic jams have formed on the main city highways – Vaneev Street, Belinsky Street, Nartov Street, Delovaya Street, as well as on bridges across the Oka River.

Before this, it became known that a snow and swamp-going vehicle based on the “Loaf” was being sold in Kazakhstan. The ZVM-2411 “Uzola” tracked vehicle produced by the all-terrain vehicle plant is priced three times more expensive than a regular UAZ van or minibus.

It also became known that a group of touring car thieves, who were hunting for new Toyota Land Cruiser SUVs and sending them in containers to the UAE, was detained in Australia.
