On the eve of Kia Ev Day, which will be held on February 27, Mark shared the details of her strategy of global leadership in the field of electrification: it provides for the launch of the EV4 sports sedan, the compact EV2 crossover and the PV5 commercial van. All new items were partially declassified in teaser pictures.
Blue electric car on teasers is a compact crossover KIA EV2. He has an unusual design of the wheel discs, plastic linings on arches and thresholds, as well as a massive rear bumper with a matte silver insert in full width. The Y-shaped lanterns, contrary to the trend, did not begin to connect the LED strip, a small spoiler was added to the roof, which gives the electric car a sports view. The roof itself is panoramic.

Next comes the photos of EV4, which is captured in profile. In the company itself, this electric car is called a sports sedan: it also has a plastic body kit, elongated head optics and L-shaped lanterns, and in general it is designed in the same style as the “senior” EV6. EV4 read two options for batteries with a capacity of 58.3 and 81.4 kilowatt hours. It is expected that an electric car will be given in the movement of a 201-horsepower electric motor installed on the front axle.

Finally, the third novelty, with which Kia intends to break into the leaders in the electric vehicle market, will be the PV5 commercial van. This model was declassified at the beginning of the year: its chip was the possibility of installing on a chassis with a cabin of different types of body. PV5 can be both cargo and passenger, and the latter’s interior is also modular and designed for a different number of passengers, including low -mobility.
PV5 will become part of the line of commercial electric transport on the PBV platform (Platform Beond Vehicle), the production of which will be launched at the new Hyundai-Kia plant in South Korea. The design capacity of the enterprise is 150 thousand cars per year, it should earn it in 2025.
