Tuner Mugen turns the Honda Super-One into a retro electric race car

The growing demand for retro electric cars has inspired Honda to create the Super-One, which clearly references the mischievous City Turbo II from the 80s. The base car already has a sporty look, but tuner Mugen decided to step it up by giving the car a more aggressive body kit, upgrading the interior and adding a performance shock absorber package to highlight the exterior. Carscoops reports this.

The Super-One’s exterior has a clear motorsport accent. The tuner installed a black spoiler and a ventilated hood at the front, and the real highlight is the ventilated fender flares that appear on top of the already widened wheel arches. Complementing the look are carbon fiber mirror caps, deeper side skirts and a set of 16-inch forged five-spoke wheels. The stern was decorated with a massive roof spoiler and sharper elements of the rear bumper.

In addition, in the cabin, the front seats were replaced with Recaro semi-bucket seats, emphasizing the track character of the car. Additionally, special floor and trunk mats, protective door sills and doors with the Mugen logo are offered (the same is on the rim of the two-spoke steering wheel). Other accessories include water-repellent mirrors and window deflectors.

Under the hood, Mugen installed Performance Dampers, developed in collaboration with Yamaha. They improve handling and reduce vibrations. In addition, the Super-One received more aggressive chassis settings than the N-One e: lowered suspension and a wider track.
