The plant in Ulyanovsk opens a new press line for a full production cycle. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sollers Adil Shirinov told TASS about this.
The key stage of preparation will be the opening of a new press line at the end of May – June 2026. “This is one of the largest investments that have not been made in the plant since its founding,” Shirinov noted. This line will churn out parts for all future models, including the ST6, ST8, ST9 pickups and the S9 SUV.
The launch of the SUV is planned for a full production cycle. In the coming years, the plant will also build a new frame welding shop, spar production and a modern painting complex, which is planned to be commissioned by the end of 2027. The goal is to create a multi-brand enterprise to produce pickup trucks, SUVs, trucks and buses.
