“The models that find buyers faster than others include the Kia Rio X-Line, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro and Lada Vesta. The average cost of a used car in 2026 is 1.4–1.9 million rubles, depending on the site and calculation method. By the end of the year, prices on the secondary market may adjust by 3-5%, experts believe,” the publication says.
Avito Auto reported that in 2026, the most liquid model on the secondary market among cars less than ten years old was the Kia Rio X-Line – it sold 41% faster than the average car.
The top 10 popular models included Chery Tiggo 7 Pro and Tiggo 4 Pro, Geely Coolray and Hyundai Solaris – they are selling about 35% faster than average. The rest of the dozen (Lada Vesta, Renault Sandero Stepway, Hyundai Creta, Lada Granta and Omoda C5) find owners about a third faster than the market.
According to Avto.ru commercial director Daniil Shkurygin, at the beginning of 2026 the most popular brands in the secondary market were Lada, Kia, Hyundai, Volkswagen and Toyota.
