The German brand is preparing to launch an affordable compact electric car in the series, which everyone can afford, because the media call it “folk”. So far, only its conceptual version is presented, and the option ready for production will have to wait until 2027. One way or another, it is already known that the novelty will be about 20 thousand euros, which is reduced by rubles at the rate of today less than two million.
Volkswagen called the ID.EVERY1 – “EVERYONE” model, that is, for everyone. It is based on the MeB platform, and the only electric motor is installed on the front axle. Its return is only 95 horsepower, a march reserve on one charge of the battery, the capacity of which has not yet been made public, is also modest – 250 kilometers. The electric car will be able to accelerate to 130 kilometers per hour, and this, according to the car manufacturer, should quite be enough to operate the machine in the city, for which it is intended.

ID.EVERY1 is a 3.88 meter hatchback long, only much larger than the UP!, But less than the upcoming ID.2all, which will exceed four meters from the bumper to the bumper, but it will cost about 25 thousand euros. The ID.EVERY1 salon is designed for four, and the trunk contains 305 liters.

Of the features of the design, you can note compact optics, smooth lines of the body, a bifurcated spoiler above the fifth door, darkened front and middle racks, as well as Volkswagen emblems in the front and back with backlight: the VW icon on the front plug shines white, and in the feed – red. In general, the conceptual prototype ID.EVERY1 looks almost ready for the series.
In total, by 2027, Volkswagen will release nine models on the front -wheel drive architecture of the MeB. In the fall of 2025, the debut of another family of electric city cars was scheduled, and three years later ID.EVERY1 and ID.2all will be launched into the series.
