Xiaomi introduced a new crossover that is more powerful and affordable than the base Macan

The company presented the flagship version of the YU7 SUV – the GT model – at the Beijing Auto Show. Carscoops reports this.

The YU7 GT, according to spy photos taken earlier in April, turned out to be much more aggressive than the base model. The widened wheel arches and impressive front end with a new darkened grille and original air intakes catch your eye. An added touch is the hood badge, crafted from carbon fiber and 24-karat gold.

Xiaomi has equipped the YU7 GT with 21- and 22-inch wheels and improved the brakes. At the rear, other design elements were added, including aerodynamic modifications: a distinctive diffuser and a compact spoiler.

Xiaomi has not yet revealed the full specifications of the YU7 GT. What is known is that the top speed reaches 300 km/h, and acceleration to 100 km/h is likely to take just over 2 seconds. Official prices have not yet been announced, but according to forecasts, the model will cost from 450,000 to 500,000 yuan (approximately 4.9-5.4 million rubles).
