The 2026 Beijing International Auto Show will open on April 24. The total exhibition area will be 380 thousand square meters, which makes the motor show the largest automobile exhibition in the world.
The event will be held at two venues for the first time, combining the China International Expo Center and the Beijing International Expo Center. The two sites are located side by side and their total length (from north to south) is approximately 1.3 km.
According to official data, 1,451 cars will be presented at the exhibition, including 181 world premieres and 71 concept cars. A total of 17 showrooms will be used, 13 of which will be dedicated to car displays.
Among the international brands participating in the exhibition will be BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Toyota and Ford, as well as many others. The honor of Chinese automakers will be defended by FAW Hongqi, Dongfeng Motor, Changan Automobile, Geely and Great Wall Motor.
In addition, startups Harmony Intelligent Mobility, Nio, Xpeng, Li Auto, Xiaomi and Leapmotor promise to show their developments.
