The Luch watch factory presented a limited edition of wristwatches dedicated to the BelAZ automobile plant, known for its mining dump trucks and other heavy equipment. A total of 100 chronometers were produced, costing 1.1 thousand Belarusian rubles (29 thousand Russian rubles).

“A watch in which scale and character come to the fore. The design is based on the image of powerful BelAZ mining dump trucks, the largest machines in the world. The watches adopt the brutal aesthetics, reliability and industrial spirit of the giants,” the Luch company describes the new product.

It is especially emphasized that the gear on the bezel (the ring around the dial that secures the glass) is a real part that is actually used in the production of cars.

The manufacturer also claims a reliable mechanism, sapphire crystal and a massive stainless steel case. The design of the dial resembles the radiator grilles of BelAZ trucks.

As Motor magazine found out, almost the entire edition of the watch was sold out within a few hours after the announcement. And a day later there were no chronometers on any of the official Internet sites.

Now you can find a product of collaboration between two factories only on message boards, but sellers set a price approximately twice as high as the one originally announced by the manufacturer.
