During the period of a single corporate vacation – from May 1 to May 17 – the company’s employees and attracted specialists completed over 15 thousand tasks. 543 million rubles were spent on this, reports the AvtoVAZ press service. It is separately clarified that the source of financing was the enterprise’s own funds.
On line No. 3, where the Granta and Iskra models are produced, the processes for preparing assembly kits have been optimized, and the process of loading the roof onto the Granta body welding line has been automated.
Line No. 1, from which Vesta and Aura leave, switched to automated welding guns at individual welding stations. And on the Niva line, new welding equipment was installed and new welding stations were organized.
In preparation for serial production of the Lada Azimut, work has been carried out to organize a “keating” zone (formation of assembly kits), plus a new unmanned floor vehicle has been launched.
In addition, before the launch of the new product, areas, equipment and welding equipment were prepared, various equipment was modernized, as well as a polishing line.
In the production of new engines with a volume of 1.6 (more than 120 hp) and 1.8 (more than 130 hp) liters, 10 machining centers for cylinder blocks, as well as a machining center for crankcases, were put into operation.
