On June 20, nearly 100 motocross athletes took part in the third stage of the St. Petersburg motocross championship and championship of the 2026 season. The youngest participant is 6 years old, and the oldest will soon turn 63 years old. In addition to the men, 7 girls also took to the start line.
Athletes from Pskov, Veliky Novgorod, St. Petersburg and various cities of the Leningrad region came to the Igora Drive circuit. In most categories, victories went to the residents of St. Petersburg, but in a number of competitions the guests from Pskov and Veliky Novgorod excelled.
Representatives of the Knights MX team, which trains on the motocross track of the Igora Drive autodrome, have achieved great success. Representatives of the team won in several categories and also won prizes.
Team leader and motocross coach at the Igora Drive circuit, Timur Muratov, became the best in the 250 class. Viktor Zhekulin won among juniors from 10 to 12 years old on 65 cc motorcycles and became third on a more powerful 85 cc vehicle. Nikita Ivanov, another representative of the Knights MX team, became the best among amateurs.

In the competition of motocross athletes aged 8 to 10 years in class 65, Dmitry Oleshnikov won gold. In class 65 for boys and girls aged 10 to 12 years, Victor Zhekulin won on GasGas. In the 85 category for boys and girls aged 11 to 15 years, first place was taken by Artem Zavarin on a KTM. Among athletes over 15 years old in the 125 class, Makar Trofimov won on a KTM. In the competition among athletes over 15 years old in the 250 class, Timur Muratov on a GasGas motorcycle became the best. The winner in the “Open” competition, where the most powerful motorcycles compete, was Petr Lobanov on a GasGas. Among girls over 15 years old, the best is Kristina Gritsko on a Honda. In the “Amateur A” class over 19 years old, which brought together 15 athletes, Nikita Ivanov on a Honda became the best. In the “Amateur B” category over 19 years old, Alexey Trofimov won on a Kawasaki. In the category for veterans from 45 to 52 years old, Rasul Shemiunov on a Husqvarna took first place. In the category for veterans from 52 to 59 years old, Alexey Tskhai from the Novgorod region on a Husqvarna won. Among veterans over 59 years old, Igor Semenov from Veliky Novgorod on a Honda became the best.
