Finmedia T-Zh analysts conducted a study and found out which car brands are most often owned by women. Gazeta.Ru has the results.
According to a study based on transaction data at gas stations, every third Hyundai car in Russia is driven by a woman—the brand accounts for 33% of fuel purchases made by the fair sex.
Mazda and Chery have almost the same figures – 32% of refueling transactions for these brands are made by women.
The most “masculine” brands are GAZ and VAZ (Lada): male drivers make 88% and 84% of purchases at gas stations there, respectively.
Analysts also noted that every eighth Lada car is driven by a driver under 25 years of age. At the same time, half of the owners of Haval and Chery are people aged 35-44 years, which experts call the most solvent group.
The study added that drivers under 25 and over 55 spend more on oil and parts at gas stations than middle-aged drivers, which may indirectly indicate older, worn-out vehicles.
