The press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region told Interfax that a site was allocated for the new plant in the Solnechnogorsk district of the Moscow region, and investors have already received all the documents necessary to begin construction. According to the agency’s interlocutor, the volume of investment in the project will be about five billion rubles, the plant will create about 150 jobs for residents of the Solnechnogorsk District, and the production capacity will be 100 thousand axles, 100 thousand suspensions and up to 400 thousand pads per year. Huajing will begin the first phase of construction in the coming months.
Esipovo is also home to a former Mercedes-Benz plant, which, after the German company left the Russian market, was transferred to the Avtodom dealer holding. According to unofficial information, the enterprise was converted to produce premium Chinese cars of the Exeed brand.
