According to the press service of the Moscow Department of Transport, now every courier is required to undergo document verification, daily photo control, and also comply with automatic speed control.
According to Interfax, delivery workers are now required to undergo mandatory document verification and daily photo control before starting their shift. In addition, the system automatically monitors the speed of their movement on bicycles, mopeds and SIM.
According to the new rules, couriers bear personal responsibility, and violations are monitored automatically. Special modules limit the speed to 25 km/h, and in “slow zones” it has become technically impossible to exceed it. Data is updated online, which allows you to immediately fine or block violators.
Deputy Mayor Maxim Liksutov noted that more than 700 thousand deliveries are made daily in the capital. Thanks to automation and identity verification, the level of trust of citizens in delivery services has reached 80% in two years.
