Audi A6 of a new generation: now declassified and sedan

In March, the premiere of the new generation A6 model took place, but then the station wagon debuted. Now, Audi is preparing for the presentation of the sedan and have already shared the first meager image of the novelty. Her debut will be held on April 15th. And although there are no details about the technique in the release, there is no intrigue: the sedan, like the station wagon, is based on the PPC platform, and Mhev Plus hybrid installations are expected in the gamut of the engines.

In the teaser picture, the A6 sedan is captured behind: you can consider the design of the rear lamp with OLED-VedioDs and the luminous strip in the entire width of the stern. In the European market, the model will appear under the name Audi A6 SEDAN, and it will compete, as before, with the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The universal has the engines as follows: the base turbo engine 2.0 TFSI, which produces 204 horsepower, diesel 2.0 TDI, supplemented by a 48-volt starter-generator, and gasoline V6 3.0 TFSI for 367 forces, which, like a diesel engine, goes with the Mhev Plus system. The gearbox is a seven -speed “robot”, the front or complete drive.

The cost of the sedan has not yet been announced, but the A6 station wagon is already available for an order at a price of 58 thousand euros (5.5 million rubles).
