Auto expert Moseev: Mazda sales increased by 1196% in March

In March 2026, among the auto brands that left Russia, Toyota retained the largest market share, and Mazda, Audi and Nissan showed the maximum relative sales growth. This was reported by auto expert, ex-head of the Russian Automobile Dealers Association Oleg Moseev in his Telegram channel.

“I decided to look at how sales of the top 12 departed brands changed in March 2026 compared to the same period last year. Shares of departed brands, March 2026: Toyota – 2.7%, Mazda – 1.85%, BMW – 1.62%, Volkswagen – 1.27%, Audi – 1.21%, Mercedes-Benz – 1.01%, Škoda – 0.81%, Honda – 0.58%, Kia – 0.58%, Lexus – 0.51%, Hyundai – 0.47%, Nissan – 0.36%,” the expert notes.

According to him, the maximum relative increase in sales was recorded at Mazda – 1931 cars (plus 1196%). Audi has the second result – 1260 cars (an increase of 800%). Nissan closes the top three with 379 units (an increase of 521%).
