Extended Chinese-made BMW X3 L crossovers have become popular among Russians. The reason is the relatively low price. A car imported from China costs 7 million rubles, and European versions are offered for about 10 million rubles. “Autoreview” named the disadvantages of the long-wheelbase BMW X3 L.
The list of shortcomings primarily includes different-wide tires of rare sizes (255/45 R20 front, 285/40 R20 rear), which will be difficult to find.
The publication’s experts also complained about the lack of stability on a straight line in the presence of irregularities. In addition, low effort and poor information content of the steering were noted.
The list of disadvantages continues with ambiguous suspension settings: the rear, according to Autoreview, lacks energy intensity, and the front follows the road profile in detail and can operate roughly.
“The X3 L feels like a BMW only occasionally, not in every way. Just another Chinese SUV,” the experts summarize, adding that they see no point in overpaying 2.5 million rubles compared to the Geely Monjaro.
