According to Rosstat, cited by the Avtostat agency, at the end of the first quarter, the drop in output was 30.1%: 25.5 thousand units were produced in three months.
“Production of trucks in January–March amounted to 25.5 thousand units, which is 30.1% lower than the figure for the 1st quarter of 2025,” reports Autostat.
In March 2026, 10.5 thousand trucks rolled off Russian assembly lines, which is 25.4% less than in March last year.
At the same time, the production of passenger cars is showing growth: 66.9 thousand cars were produced in March (+9.8% compared to March 2025), and in January-March – 180 thousand units, which is 2.3% higher than the same period last year.
