Most often, mass crossovers and SUVs from such brands as Hyundai, Kia, Renault, Nissan, Volkswagen, Skoda, Toyota, Haval, Geely, Chery, Exeed, as well as cars from the old Moskvich line, are trade-ins when purchasing new Moskvich M70 and M90 cars. Yuri Blinov, Marketing Director of Avilon AG, told the analytical agency Autostat about this.

As the specialist explained, the M70 is usually considered as an alternative to a compact city crossover, and the M90 as a transition to a more spacious family SUV. This explains the fact that when exchanging for an M90, mostly higher-class cars are traded in.

Blinov noted that the logic of buyers is clear: they are updating not just a car, but the ownership format itself. What is important to them is a new year of manufacture, more modern equipment, an official guarantee, transparent service and the opportunity to reduce the initial payment due to a trade-in.
