The press service of the Russian automaker issued a statement asserting that AvtoVAZ does not plan any changes in the pricing policy of the Lada brand. Representatives of the brand also asked the media to refrain from spreading fake news on this topic.

“Anticipating the possible spread of panic messages about the alleged increase in prices for Lada from August 1, we hasten to assure that we are not responsible for the nightmares of individual Togliatti “insider bloggers,” as well as for the results of their communication with obscure representatives of the supposed Lada dealer community,” the publication says.

Prior to this, AvtoVAZ increased the recommended prices for the Lada Largus and its modifications. The increase was 50 thousand rubles for all versions, including Largus CNG and Largus Cross.
