AvtoVAZ patented a new logo for the Niva SUV

The main change is the font. If earlier the letters in the name were slanted, now they are straight. At the same time, the inscription is still made in Latin, although recently many automakers are switching to Cyrillic. But here, apparently, they decided to maintain continuity.

There may be several reasons for the appearance of a new sign: a planned update, the appearance of a new version of Niva Travel or Niva Legend, or perhaps the separation of Niva as such into a separate brand.

The most interesting thing is hidden in the registration application. If Rospatent approves the new mark, AvtoVAZ will be able to produce under it not only cars, but also spare parts and accessories. And also games, construction sets and radio-controlled cars.

It is clear that the plant is unlikely to produce toy SUVs. Rather, this is a common practice: the company is simply insuring itself so that no one else takes this niche and starts producing counterfeits under a well-known brand.

Earlier, Russians were told about serious problems with their cars in the spring.
