AvtoVAZ showed a video of crash tests of the Lada Iskra family

On the eve of the start of serial production, a promising model of the auto giant shared a roller, according to which you can evaluate the passive safety of the new items. The AvtoVAZ landfill allows imitation of typical clashes (front, lateral, rear blows + an accident with a pedestrian). In Russia, there are only two complexes for crash tests, and the compact dimensions of the testing laboratory make it unique even by world standards.

Lada ISKRA appeared on the AvtoVAZ website: a booklet and a collection of applications

Each crash test is watched by special video cameras with a video speed of 2000 frames per second. At the landfill, the car can be dispersed to a speed of 80 km/h, although for most tests according to the European method, the collision occurs 64 km/h. In addition to simulating an accident, the new car takes a cycle of testing of locks, loops, steering column, seat belts, children’s holding systems, interior elements and exterior.

In the official video, the rich configurations of Lada ISKRA/ISKRA SW/ISKRA SW CROSS were lit up, but the basic sedans on stamps were and for certification.
