Cameras with artificial intelligence cannot recognize a fake. This was reported by the Baza Telegram channel.
“As one of the victims of the scam, Muscovite Elena, said <...>, she found the first invoices for payment of 5.5 thousand rubles on a page in the State Services. It said that the girl must pay tolls on the M12 toll highway in October and December 2025. The problem is that neither she nor her black Toyota drove along this road,” the publication says.
According to photographs from cameras, the violation was committed by a white Volkswagen. On his license plate, one letter was carelessly covered with another, which is why the recognition system made a mistake and charged the owner of the black Tpyota a payment. Elena is worried that she will soon receive new fines for the current year – after all, it is not clear how long the attacker has been driving around with the license plate pasted over. The woman turned to Avtodor for help, since it is this organization that is responsible for issuing invoices on toll highways.
