Cheap Vietnamese electric cars Vinfast will go in a taxi

The Vinfast brand is actively developing on the local market: the appearance of a whole family of commercial models oriented to taxi pages and car sharing services is announced. In total, four cars are planned, two of which will be variations of existing electric cars, and two more – full -fledged news.

One of the novelties will receive the name Minio Green. It will be a subcompact three -door hatchback, which acts in the same class as the Chinese Wuling Mini EV. The length of the electric car will be only three meters with a wheelbase two meters, and a 27-horsepower electric motor installed on the rear axle will be driven in motion. The battery capacity is not disclosed, but it is known that two versions with a margin of 120 and 180 kilometers will be offered to choose from. The maximum speed of Vinfast Minio Green is 85 kilometers per hour. It is assumed that in the Vietnamese market, the electric hatch will perform an alternative to mopeds.

But the Vinfast Limo Green crossover, on the contrary, turned out to be large: the length is 4.73 meters, the width is 1.87 meters, and the height is 1.69 meters. There are three rows of seats in the cabin and it is designed for seven people. The only electric motor is installed on the front axle. More details will appear closer to the launch that is scheduled for this year.

Vinfast Herio Green, which will be built on the basis of VF5, will also enter the commercial family. The version for taxi and car sharing differs from the “donor” only more modest equipment, and everything else, from design to a 136-horsepower engine, will be the same as VF5.

The same thing will happen with Vinfast VF E34 – it will be turned into a commercial Nerio Green, with the only difference that the “civilian” option is no longer available.
