Chery has announced the start of global pre-orders for its new premium electric vehicle Exeed EX7, which is an updated version of the Exlantix ET model for international markets.
To reserve a new car, potential buyers just need to make a deposit, which will then be applied towards the purchase of the car.
The main technical feature of the model was the brand’s debut aircraft-type braking system – electronic-mechanical (EMB). It is used, in particular, on F-15 fighters. The system will be available on both the extended-range hybrid and all-electric variants.
The EX7 hybrid modification is equipped with a one and a half liter gasoline turbo engine and two versions of traction batteries with a capacity of 39.816 and 39.916 kWh. The stated electric-only range ranges from 182 to 203 km.
The purely electric version received two electric motors with a combined power of 123 kW at the front and 230 kW at the rear, as well as a 97.682 kWh battery, providing a range of 682 to 726 km. Other technical specifications, such as acceleration time or top speed, have not yet been revealed.
The length of the car is almost 5 meters and the wheelbase is 3 meters. The minimalist interior is dominated by a 30-inch integrated display that combines the instrument panel and multimedia screen.
The list of equipment includes wireless charging, leather seats, a panoramic roof and a rear view camera with a mirror function.
