Chery shared the first images of the new EXEED crossover

The “daughter” of Cheri Xingtu Xingyuan, whose cars in Russia are known under the name Exlantix (part of the EXEED line), prepares a novelty. It is so far known as Star Era E05 and is designed to set the tone for future models of the family – at least from the point of view of exterior design, writes the Chinese portal Autohome. In the meantime, Cheri publishes the first three teasers, without revealing the details about the date of the debut.

Judging by the images, the novelty gets the streamlined body and a completely different optics of a drop -shaped shape. The headlights are separate, in each – three LED “strokes” with a dashed pattern. Between them is the EXEED logo.

The logo is duplicated on the fifth door, between lanterns decorated in the same style. A spoiler is visible above the rear window, and the roof is crowned by the antenna “fin”.

Star Era E05 will be equipped with an advanced “autopilot” Horizon SuperDrive (HSD) from the Shanghai company Horizon Robotics, represented only in April of this year. The system operates on the Journey 6P chip Horizon and is able to imitate a person’s behavior at the wheel, says a Chinese company.

The developer announced that the HSD will debut in September this year on the new model under the premium eXEED bond: perhaps then the debut of the new SUV will be held.

It is expected that it will become part of the Exlantix export line, which appeared on the Russian market only in June 2025, a year and a half after the premiere. The Russians are still offering two models – the ES sedan and the ET crossover with hybrid power plants worth 5,990,000 and 6,600,000 rubles, respectively.
