Sollers and UAZ pickups will receive a new generation of protective coating

At the Ulyanovsk industrial site of the Sollers group, a new chamber will begin to operate for applying a protective coating of polyurea to the cargo compartments of pickup trucks. Sollers ST6, Sollers ST8, and in the future, UAZ Pickup will receive such protection.

Commissioning work is currently underway, and the launch of the camera itself is scheduled for April 2026. The new composition guarantees reliable protection of the cargo compartment from moisture, reagents and corrosion.

In terms of the combination of mechanical properties and chemical resistance, the new coating is superior to the raptor-type polyurethane compounds that were previously used by the automaker.

JAC redesigned the N200 model at the request of Russian retailers. A plant was built in Russia that will make only garbage trucks. A sedan in the Toyota Camry format has appeared in the smart brand range.

Earlier, UAZ listed 5 updates that await the Patriot and Pickup SUVs. The main technical innovation in SUVs will be a new power unit: the press service of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant told Motor magazine about this.
