Chery Tiggo 7 crossovers will be recalled in China due to the risk of sudden engine stop

The notice of the campaign has already been registered with the government authorities of the People’s Republic of China. A total of 1.1 thousand Tiggo 7 and Tansuo 06 vehicles produced from April 1 to December 8, 2025 will be recalled.

The problem is due to an error during assembly of car parts. The wiring harness connected to the engine electronic control unit (ECU) may have been secured incorrectly. Over time, this can cause chafing of the insulation, which leads to the risk of a short circuit and sudden shutdown of the power unit.

Chery undertakes to carry out free diagnostics of all vehicles affected by the recall campaign. If incorrect fastening or damaged wiring is discovered, dealerships will make the necessary repairs or replace defective components free of charge.

Owners of the specified models will be notified about the campaign through official Chery dealers.

Earlier it was reported that in Russia they sell a VAZ-2101 with lambo doors and a powerful engine.
