Chevrolet has announced prices for the new Corvette ZR1 and even made a comparison with its closest competitors. So, with an initial cost of $173,300, each horsepower will cost the Corvette buyer $160.61. At the same time, for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS this figure is almost 460 dollars, and for the Lamborghini Revuelto – 600. On paper, the benefit is obvious. However, in reality, neither Porsche nor even Lamborghini customers think in terms of benefit/disadvantage.

However, the Corvette ZR1 really turned out to be crazy, even by American standards. Cars equipped with the ZR1 prefix differ from a regular Corvette by having a carbon fiber roof, an Edge Blue intake, and unique aluminum wheels, which can be replaced for an additional fee with one of two composite options. In the second case, this will reduce unsprung masses by almost 19.5 kilograms. Production of the ZR1 Corvettes starts this year, and, according to American journalists, high demand will lead to the supercar becoming more expensive over time.
