In less than a month, as of April 12, 182 new M-series Moskvich vehicles were registered with the traffic police: 101 M70 units and 71 M90 units. This analysis is provided by Sergei Tselikov, head of the analytical agency Autostat.
The Moskvich plant previously presented two new crossovers – the five-seat M70 and the seven-seat M90. Both were created on the platforms of the Chinese concern SAIC, but received their own emblem in the form of a battlement of the Kremlin wall and were adapted to Russian conditions.
The more compact Moskvich M70 comes from the second-generation MG HS crossover, and the M90 looks like a copy of the flagship MG RX9 crossover. In the process of becoming “Moskvich” crossovers went through cycles of summer and winter tests.
Recommended retail prices start from 3.1 million rubles for the basic version of the M70 and reach 4.2 million for the top-end M90.
