The main problems with spare parts in Russia today arise from owners of Chinese cars imported through parallel imports: the waiting time for parts there can reach several months. The press service of the Fit Service car service network told Gazeta.Ru about this.
“For mass Chinese brands (Chery, Haval, Geely, etc.) in popular positions, now, as a rule, everything is closed within a reasonable time. The shortage is spotty in nature – mainly in large body parts and rare components,” the company noted.
The main problems with spare parts concern parallel import vehicles, including Changan, Zeekr, FAW, BYD, BAW and certain Dongfeng models. The wait for body parts, optics, electronic components or interior elements can take from one to five months. The reason is not only complex logistics, but also the lack of full-fledged catalogs and an established warehouse program for specific models.
