Honda showed the strength of Passport crossovers, hanging it using a crane

The Japanese brand tested cars in the modification of TrailSport. For testing at their own training ground in California, specialists lifted the vehicles linked to the air. In the process of tests, engineers actually showed the strength of towing instructions and towbars, which are included in the equipment of crossovers.

According to official figures, Honda Passport’s eyes can withstand a load twice as of the mass of the crossover. During the tests, the upper car had to withstand triple weight. The total mass of all cars was almost 6.5 tons. At the same time, the eyes were at an altitude of more than 30 meters.

In addition to a rupture with two additional points of attaching towing cables, specialists demonstrated other advantages of the Passport crossover. Among them: a body of increased stiffness, as well as the protective plates of the bottom, the thickness of which reaches four millimeters.

In September last year, Nissan dropped the Qashqai crossover with a 65-meter height on a tarzanka. As a result of an unusual trick, the model fell into the Guinness Book of Records.
