The authors of the project want to bring a prototype to the stage of the finished product, which will have references to Japanese aesthetics, kaizu and animation. One of the main Ichiban chips will be the Godzilla sideline mode.
The virtual brand Ichiban Motorcycles, launched two years ago, was transformed into a team of enthusiasts, which aims to bring an anime retrofuturistic electricbike to the market. The source of inspiration for the project was the full-length “Akira”, and the design concept was based on the Kanso principle (translated as “simplicity”)-one of the seven elements of the Japanese aesthetics of Vabi Sabi.

Unlike the motorcycle of Shotaro Candy from Akira, ICHIBAN is more realistic and at the same time equipped well. The two -engine power plant at the peak will issue 61 horsepower – this is enough to accelerate from a place to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.5 seconds. The battery will provide 250 kilometers of the course, and its charging will take up to 70 percent no more than half an hour. The motorcycle will be equipped with ABS, the track control and the Godzilla regime (!), Activating which you can get the maximum return for 10 seconds.

The idea to use Japanese culture as a whole as a good thing as a starting point is not bad, but how much the serial motorcycle will correspond to the reenders is still unknown. Also, there is neither the price nor the timing of the start of production, although those who wish can subscribe to the ICHIBAN MOTORCYCles newsletter and one of the first to receive new updates about the status of the project.
