In Russia, new traffic rules about “flashing lights” and children’s seats entered into force

Since July 26, new road rules have earned regarding the procedure for actions when approaching vehicles with special signals included. The resolution is published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts. In it, the Ministry of Transport specified how exactly the way to give way. According to the new rules, when approaching a car with blue special signals, drivers should reduce speed, rebuild into a neighboring row or move to the side of the road. Earlier, only the obligation to give way to the traffic rules was spelled out, without explanation.

If the flashing light is red, you need to give way and the following cars that are traveling. To ahead of special vehicles, as well as moving at its speed on the neighboring stripes, is prohibited. It is now necessary to pass according to the rules without any livery-senior officials, accompanied by the traffic police or FSO, usually ride on these. Fines for violation of new rules reach 7500 rubles.

At the same time, a ban on the use of “substitutes” of children’s car seats is fixed in the traffic rules. So, from now on, adapters, fixers, seat belts, flexible elements with buckles are prohibited. For their use, instead of “normal” seats, individuals will be fine in the amount of up to three thousand rubles, legal entities – for 100 thousand, and taxi drivers are facing criminal liability.
