The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) made a proposal to increase minimal tariffs since 2026. The corresponding draft amendments to the departmental order regulating the methodology for calculating the amount of fees for conducting a technical inspection was published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts, Kommersant drew attention to it.
The tax, which from November 1, 2024 must pay operators, will be laid in the basic cost of a technical inspection and write down in the FAS methodology. Tariffs for 2026 will be approved until December 20 of this year. So, the minimum tariff for then cars will be increased from 913 to 1,500 rubles, and for minibuses (category M2) – from 1560 to 2570 rubles.
The main inspection will rise in price for trucks weighing more than 12 tons (category N3): the minimum price increases from 1960 to 3230 rubles. The operators themselves supported the proposal of the FAS.
