It became known where in Russia the most affordable gasoline

The cost of fuel in the country continues to increase: in April 2025, a liter of AI-92 cost 2.4 percent more than in December 2024. For a liter, an average of 56.48 rubles was asked, but the price changes noticeably depending on the region – on the minimum 52.75 rubles per liter to the maximum 72.07. The most affordable gasoline was in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Moscow and the Chukotsk AO: more than two thousand liters of the 92nd can afford for the average salary.

More than one and a half thousand liters of AI-92 can afford to purchase for the middle payers the inhabitants of nine regions of Russia. These are Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Magadan and Sakhalin regions, St. Petersburg, Murmansk region, Kamchatka Territory, Moscow Region and Yakutia.

In another 40 regions of the Russian Federation, salaries will be enough for 1–1.5 thousand liters. In December, there were fewer such subjects. And the least available fuel in Ingushetia, Chechnya, Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia. One average salary is not enough there for 750 liters.

The average cost of a car in Russia continues to decline in Russia since the beginning of the year, the popular used crossovers in Russia have a record cost of gasoline AI-95.

As for the prices, the cheapest gasoline in the Chelyabinsk region is 52.75 rubles per liter, as well as in the Kurgan region (52.83 rubles) and Tatarstan (53.57 rubles). The highest price is recorded in Yakutia – 72.07 rubles. Compared to December, fuel prices rose in 79 regions, and decreased only in four.

Earlier, experts calculated how much the new Lada has risen since 2021. Granta became 69 percent more expensive, Vesta – 85, Largus – by 86, and the classic Niva Legend – by 56 percent. A new rise in price is not excluded: last week, AvtoVAZ warned about the possible indexation of prices due to the growth of the cost of machines.
