New versions of 16-valve naturally aspirated engines have been prepared for Lada Azimut – with output of 120 and 132 hp. The first option will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, and the second will be paired with a V-belt variator.
Prior to this, the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, announced the release date of the powerful version of the Lada Azimut crossover. By the end of this year, the company will make a series of prototypes equipped with a 150-horsepower turbo engine.
After the experimental machines are assembled, a large stage of testing, fine-tuning and assessing customer demand will follow based on market realities.
