The unique concept car cost the new owner $117 million. Italian engineers built an exclusive model in 2013 for the factory collection of concepts. The car was never planned to be put into mass production or put up for sale. A decade later, the manufacturer could not resist the price offered by a private collector.
The Lamborghini Egoista, designed by the company’s then-designer Walter da Silva, was the ground-based embodiment of the jet fighter. The exclusive supercar, built on the basis of the Gallardo supercar, has a three-piece front end and a single-seat cockpit located under a glass canopy through which access to the interior is provided.

By analogy with military jet aircraft, the car body was equipped with active aerodynamic elements and an anti-radar coating. The Egoista is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 producing 600 horsepower. Since 2013, the supercar has been kept in the Lamborghini factory museum. A private collector paid $117 million for the one-of-a-kind car.
Last November, Lamborghini presented the unique Revuelto supercar in the Opera Unica modification. The super hybrid was developed for the Chinese market.
