Sex in a car can result in the initiation of a criminal case for Russians if at that moment teenagers who have not reached the age of majority were passing by the car. Automotive lawyer Lev Voropaev spoke about this in an interview with Motor magazine.
“Sex in a car is classified as petty hooliganism if it really bothered someone, if there was obscene language at that moment,” the lawyer said. – If in any way a minor is involved in the process, not in the sexual contact itself, but simply present. If this somehow influenced the satisfaction of the physical needs of people who had sex, then this can be qualified under Art. 135 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Depraved acts”).”
According to this provision of the law, criminal liability is established for acts of a sexual nature without physical violence against persons under 16 years of age; punishment ranges from compulsory labor to imprisonment for up to 15 years. Moreover, if intimate relations in a car are recognized as petty hooliganism, then violators will face up to 15 days of arrest.
Previously, the lawyer named the deadline for returning the purchased car to the dealer without any problems.
