The video and the first official photographs distributed by the European Mitsubishi office captured the second -generation Eclipse Cross details: the front plug with a cell pattern, drawing door handles, wheels with complex design and nameplate on the fifth door – the name of the model and an indication that this is an electric car.

It is assumed that from the “brother” Renault Scenic E-Tech, the novelty will differ in the design of the front of the body, but the technical filling of the models will be identical. This means that the “second” Eclipse Cross will receive the only electric motor on the front axle, which can issue 170 or 218 horsepower, and two batteries of different capacities to choose from-60 and 87 kilowatt hours. SCENIC E-Tech reserve varies from 424 and 614 kilometers, depending on the version.

Second-generation Eclipse Cross Debuts in Europe will take place in September this year, sales will start at the end of 2025. Prior to this, in the summer, Mitsubishi will conduct the premiere of the hybrid Grandis, built on the basis of Renault Symbioz.
