The German brand, part of the Stellantis concern, presented the next model of Submarine resurrected in 2022 [GSE](https://motor.ru/news/opel-astra-gse-28-09-2022.htm). Mokka with such a prefix received “technology” as in [Abarth 600e](https://motor.ru/news/abarth-600e-29-10-2024.htm), a reconfigured suspension and sports accents in appearance, and exchange the first “hundred” in 5.9 seconds. This makes her more dynamic than all -wheel drive [электрокроссовера Grandland](https://motor.ru/news/opel-grandland-4×4-16-06-2025.htm) shown in June.
The “hot” Mokka GSE drives the only electric motor with a capacity of 280 horsepower (345 nm of the torque), which is almost twice as much as the standard MOKKA. On the front axle is the differential of high friction Torsen. From a place of up to 100 kilometers per hour, 1600-kilogram crossover is able to accelerate in 5.9 seconds, and the maximum speed in sports mode is 200 kilometers per hour.
The battery is the same as the usual electric car-a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 54 kilowatt hours. In terms of stock, a powerful version, however, is inferior to Mokka Electric, which drives on one charge up to 406 kilometers.

The Mokka GSE suspension, lowered by 10 millimeters, received two hydraulic shock absorbers. Opel engineers made the rear axle tougher, adjusted the steering and added Alcon brakes.

The appearance of the GSE version is “more aggressive”: the novelty is distinguished by black inserts in bumpers, 20-inch alloy wheels with yellow calipers and tires of Michelin Pilot Sport EV, as well as GSE emblems. The sports theme continues in a salon with white and yellow decor, upholstery from Alcantara, aluminum pedals and a new steering wheel. For new modes, the graphics of two 10-inch displays are adjusted.
Sales of the “charged” electric car will start until the end of 2026. It is expected that the price will be revealed in the coming months.
