Keyless entry, auto start and touchscreen media are just some of the options never seen before in a low-cost car. Gazeta.Ru was told about this by the press service of the Avtodom group of companies.

“More and more options that were previously considered the privilege of premium brands are becoming standard for cars in the mass segment. For example, a keyless entry and remote engine start system. The electronic system allows you to automatically unlock the doors when the car owner approaches and start the engine from a distance,” noted a representative of Avtodom.

According to the interlocutor, multimedia in the mass segment is actively developing: now it is not just audio systems, but complexes with large screens, navigation, voice control and integration with services. Until recently, only premium brands had this. Now 10-inch displays and advanced software are becoming standard.

Active safety has also become more accessible. Adaptive cruise, lane keeping, blind spot monitoring – all this is already found in middle-class cars. Matrix headlights, which were previously only available on luxury brands, are also gradually moving into the mass segment, automatically adjusting the light without dazzling oncoming traffic. Atmospheric lighting and additional screens have appeared in the salons – previously this was a privilege of the executive class, now it is a common thing for crossovers.
