Analysts of the Avtodor group of companies and the VSK insurance house found that 47 percent of all road accidents that occurred with car vestments in Russia are associated with the residents of the capital. Despite this, the number of people wishing to go on a car travele in the summer of 2025 has grown noticeably – 57 percent of Russians plan a trip.

Residents of Moscow are more likely to become participants in traffic accidents during traveling in cars around the country. As a joint survey of Avtodor and the VSK insurance house showed, there are 47 percent of all recorded accidents. Much less often, an accident occurs with the participation of motorists from Krasnodar, the Stavropol Territory and the Chelyabinsk region, which account for 3.0, 2.8 and 2.7 percent of incidents, respectively.

The largest number of accidents with auto tutorists occurs in Moscow – 6.9 percent, in the Novosibirsk region – 6 percent, in the Krasnodar Territory – 5.4 percent.
