NHTSA: Toyota Highlander may cause back injuries to passengers

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced a recall of 550 thousand vehicles by Toyota. The reason for the service campaign was a defect in the seat back mechanism, which may not be fixed, which increases the risk of injury.

The service campaign applies to Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrid vehicles from 2021 to 2024. The reason is that the backrests of the second row seats may not lock when adjusted. According to NHTSA, authorized dealers will provide free replacement of recoil springs in reclining mechanisms.

Previously, it was reported that Ferrari was preparing a new version of the Purosangue. The company is considering upgrading the chassis of its V12 crossover Purosangue. This could lead to a more powerful version of the model.

According to reports, a version with even higher performance characteristics may soon be introduced, designed to strengthen the brand’s position in the confrontation with the Lamborghini Urus.
