Topspeed named the 10 most reliable family crossovers of 2026

To compile the list, experts used JD Power data on quality and reliability, RepairPal estimates on service costs, and recall campaign statistics from the American National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The leader of the rating with a score of 85 points out of 100 was the Chevrolet Blazer, which also turned out to be one of the most inexpensive to maintain with a complete absence of recall campaigns.

In second place is the Kia Telluride, also scoring 85 points, which has already gotten rid of most of the “childhood diseases”, although it has three reviews.

The Hyundai Palisade closes the top three with 84 points – despite the fact that this is the first year of the new generation, experts expect high reliability thanks to durable power units, but the model also has three recalls.

The top five included the Nissan Pathfinder (84 points), whose reliability increased after switching from a CVT to a traditional automatic in 2022, and the Chevrolet Traverse (83 points), which underwent a redesign in 2024.

Sixth place went to the Dodge Durango (83 points) – the current generation has been in production for 15 years, all problems have been eliminated, but costs over 10 years of ownership turned out to be the highest in the ranking.

Next come the Toyota Grand Highlander with 82 points and two recall campaigns, the Honda Passport (82 points) with the lowest annual service in the rating, the Toyota Highlander (82 points) with a quarter-century reputation, and the Subaru Outback (81 points) closes the top ten.
