Sollers, which produces commercial cars and pickups based on Chinese JAC under its own brand, continues to deepen the localization. It became known that the seats were imported on the Atlant model – before they were Chinese, but now Russian production. Domestic chairs differ from Chinese design and are more suitable for operation in our country.

Atlant is available at the capacities of the holding factory in Elabuga, there is organized production in a full cycle, with welding and coloring, and the level of localization is gradually increasing. According to Drom, the driver’s seats of Russian -made, which now put on the model, have an adjustment of the lumbar support and separate adjustment of the pillow in height, and the tag of the salad has been increased compared to the Chinese analogue. At the same time, at the double front passenger seat, the pillow was made wider.

Earlier, Atlant received a number of other improvements. At the end of January of this year, it became known that during the modernization, three dozen additional vibration and soundproofing elements were introduced. This, according to Sollers itself, reduced the noise level in the cabin by 75 percent at once, or by 23 dB.

Last summer, the technology of car coloring was changed, not only Atlant, but also ARGO: the body is held several stages of preparation, the cataphore coating is applied by a complete immersion method. The welds are additionally processed by the wax composition and special mastic. The thickness of the paintwork is doubled – up to 120 microns. As a result, the corrosion resistance of the body has increased.

From that moment, the warranty from through corrosion was increased to eight years.
