A street camera captured the incident. The recording shows how the truck drives into the adjacent lane and crashes into a Zhiguli. The impact causes the cars to instantly burst into flames. In addition, a traffic jam begins to form at the scene of the accident.
Previously, in China, a Nio EC6 was filmed split into pieces after an accident. On December 1, in a suburb of Shanghai, a Nio EC6 electric crossover crashed into a concrete fence at high speed. The impact was so strong that the rear of the car was completely separated from the front.
At the time of the accident, the driver assistance system did not work, and the company said that the doors unlocked after the impact and the handles extended automatically. They also noted that the battery did not catch fire or overheat.
