The car was produced from 2000 to 2009 and became one of the few American mid-engined supercars to achieve success in international motorsport, including the FIA GT Championship. Now one of these rare cars is up for sale, combining racing history with Hollywood history. Carscoops reports this.

Paul Walker, known for his love of cars, once owned this 2003 Saleen S7. However, judging by the odometer readings, he personally drove it very little – how long the car was in his collection is unknown. To date, the supercar’s mileage is only 3,025 kilometers, which is an excellent result for a 23-year-old American car.

Collectors generally prefer cars with low mileage, but such cars have their downsides. Parts can wear out from long periods of inactivity, and if the machine has been used only sporadically and over short distances, this can lead to the accumulation of deposits in the engine. The seller also does not say whether scheduled maintenance has been performed.

The supercar appears to have been well maintained – not least due to the fact that it was owned by Paul Walker, and then probably by other enthusiasts. The exterior is flawless with no visible scratches or scuffs to the silver paint. The interior also looks fresh, but one cannot help but note its simplicity and clearly outdated design.
