The AGR holding and the Chinese company Defetoo plan to begin production and sales of Jeland brand cars in the second quarter of 2026. This was reported by the press service of the holding.
In preparation for entering the Russian market, the companies began to form a dealer network. The geographic presence will cover more than 175 centers in 95 cities of Russia – from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.
The production of Jeland cars will be organized at the site in Shushary (St. Petersburg), which AGR acquired in 2024.
The design capacity of the enterprise is up to 100 thousand cars per year. Previously, this site housed the production of General Motors and Toyota automobiles.
