Russians lose interest in used pickups

Against the background of the general reduction in the country’s car market, the used trucks went down and sales: according to Avtostat, only 2.4 thousand such cars were sold in February. This is three percent less than in the same month of 2024. Experts also note that this is the first fall after four months of growth.

The most popular in the secondary market of Toyota pickups – they account for 26 percent of all sales (617 units). In second place is another Japanese brand – Mitsubishi with 449 resold pickups, which is 19 percent.

The third place was taken by the UAZ with 336 cars, the fourth – the Chinese Great Wall with 176. And the Five of Volkswagen leaders closes: 147 such cars were found for February for February.

As for the models, the most popular with a result of 521 pieces was Toyota Hilux. The second line was taken by the Mitsubishi L200 with 447 pieces, the third – the UAZ “Pikap” with 366.
